 Thanks for the report!

 Has this happened for you in a more recent version of WordPress? The
 Customizer's automatic refresh converts straight quotes to curved "smart"
 quotes, so the problem may have been somewhere in that process.

 I did not have trouble when I tried it in my local installation (WP 5.8.2,
 WooCommerce 5.9, Windows 10, Firefox 95). I typed single and double quotes
 on their own, then an apostrophe inside a word.
