 In #Core-privacy we are always looking at the privacy concerns of using WP
 and ofcourse we already have talked a lot about the various concerns with
 regards to the use of Gravatar. Solving this problem  will not only have a
 positive impact on WP's adoption, but it will also make it more easy for
 admins to comply with privacylaws such as GDPR/CCPA/Pipeda etc.  We have
 some great privacy ideas that hopefully will be included the 5.6 roadmap,
 such as the much needed [https://make.wordpress.org/core/2020/04/01
 /feature-plugin-proposal-wp-consent-api/ Consent API]  , and it would be
 great if more Privacy related ideas such as the local avatar can be
 included in 5.6 as (part of ) a feature plugin.
