 I took some time as I said would and have come up with some things would
 be great to get feedback on. I, for now, am focusing on plugins in mocks
 but whatever we do also applies to themes.

 First, let's look at the flows. Props to @audrasjb for surfacing these.

 1. How a user controls updates (note green are actions they want, grey
 screens)

 I also began exploring on the plugin screen what 'multiple updates' could
 look like and as you can see a column feels pretty nice here and would
 allow us to easier have the checkbox and bulk action. I really like idea
 we use our existing bulk actions as that is understood. It does make it a
 less 'visual' process and feels very functional, but that also seems to
 align with this interface. There is then space to give different messages
 and separate actions, it makes it conscious over hidden.

 These are very rough mocks so apologies about their franken-mock nature,
 just trying to get ideas out rapidly.

 One problem we need to consider is repeating UI, a sea of links or toggles
 is possibly less of an issue than the checkboxes that are already
 accepted.

 - Do people agree these are correct?
 - Anything missing? I bet there is so let's correct that now!
 - As we dive into this working out what we need to communicate where is
 also key, the words we use will soothe or not, so it's critical.
