 I have some questions/suggestions:

 - You use "pause/paused" for plugins that don’t have autoupdates enabled.
 I think "disable/disabled" makes more sense since the autoupdates are
 still in the state they were before 5.4: disabled. Nothing was paused.
 Please note: maybe I'm wrong, as you knows I'm not a native English
 speaker at all :)

 - The new column looks good to me, but in that case I don't think we
 should keep anything in the description column.

 - In your schema/graphics, I think you forgot some use case where
 developer are able to disable/enable/setup autoupdates settings by using
 filters and constants.

 - I think it should also include the flow for multisites/network installs

 I should be able to work on the new autoupdate column and send a patch
 tonight, after the devchat :-)
