 I guess the intention here is transparency, but, comments being hidden
 from view that someone left years ago don't necessarily warrant them being
 told about it IMHO.

 A recent comment, where it should've been a Bug report or support forum
 request yes, but outdated content, without an easy way for the original
 author to update it (if even viable) seems like it'll just cause more
 problems than benefits.
