[theme-reviewers] theme review query

Hi,

I have a query. If we find any issues (Notices, Warnings or any required issues) in previously approved theme while reviewing for it's version update. Should we resolve it as not approved or should we keep the ticket open and comment on the ticket for calling theme author to fix the issue and upload the new version.
or should we point out issues, approve the theme and ask theme author to fix it in next version. What will be the best approach
