I haven't released a theme for the public yet, but Id like to. Is there
specific need / style that hasn't been met yet?

I assume you are referring to the design for http://wordpress.org/ ?

I don't think the designers for that ever released that publicly.

The mailing list catches some of these, and I reject them. As for
spam in general, yes, you can expect people to try and spam
anyone/thing they can, welcome to the Internet :-(

Ahh. Did you add us all as recipients for the themes at wordpress.org
alias? I was under the impression that the spam was getting through to
the list, which, knowing Mailman, seemed odd. But upon closer
inspection I noted the different To: address.

*sigh* Looks like it'll be some more rolled-up-newspaper training for
GMail, then.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Tom Lany, and I am a WordPress user from Minnesota. I have
been working with WordPress since 2006, and manage my college

Hi,

Thanks for the review.

Just uploaded a new version that fixes some bugs, so the theme can use the
correct version of jQuery.

Regards,

Constantin

Excellent feedback. One thing to note is that the twentyten theme
depends on WP 3.0, which hasn't hit official release yet. Supporting
new features is fine, but I wouldn't expect a theme to require them
until the version is actually released. In the case of
the_author_meta() that isn't a problem since it's part of WP 2.9.2.

Please go ahead and pass that along to Niyaz PK <niyazpk at gmail.com>
(and the list again).

In addition, you get the first new theme review task :-)

Check out http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/wpt-magnitade-11/1.12 via
Subversion and post the review details to the list. My hope is get
people comfortable with reviewing themes and then giving them direct
access to the review admin.

We've seen trends where themes create several new rows in options
table, for no particular reason, they just didn't realize what was
happening. As a result I've been encouraging theme authors group
these in more reasonable ways, usually as just a single option. A
related issue is naming theme options in reasonable, unique ways, so
that it is clear where the option can from and doesn't have naming
collisions.

Ok, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't trying to double serialize the
content.
