[wp-hackers] Custom field editing

Hi,

I posted the following on the forum yesterday:


I have not tracked down the exact conditions that cause this issue, but 
we have a 1.2 install (currently non-public in development).

We are using a client-side tool (Marsedit) to input posts, and then 
editing them via wp-admin to add the meta-key and value. It appears 
that sometimes (but not always) this causes an additional copy of the 
post to be added to the posts table.

Has anybody heard of this and/or can offer any explanation/solution?
