 @josephscott out of curiosity, did you test any variation with a limited
 cache size to purge out old entries? 240 KB isn’t much, but it’s also not
 nothing when thinking about requests that //can// be fulfilled in 16–19 MB
 total. That’s potentially around a 1% bloat I think.
