 As per today's 7.0 bug scrub: This one was committed then reverted during
 6.9. With that lot of committers discussing this ticket, I won't punt it
 tot Future Release yet, but I just wanted to add a comment to make sure
 someone still want to ship it in time for 7.0 :)
