 I'll close this ticket as 'reported-upstream' because Gutenberg added
 support for the `<mark>` tag in the Highlight feature.

 However, Highlight does not seem to support a `<mark>` tag **without**
 setting a color (for anyone who wants to use the browser's default
 background color). If you would like to request that, please open an issue
 on the GitHub repository.
