 Adding abbreviations to the post editor toolbar or incorporating them as
 shortcuts could indeed enhance user experience, especially considering the
 prevalence of shorthand and acronyms in modern communication. While it may
 not be currently integrated, there are alternative methods to achieve this
 functionality. One approach could involve creating a custom TinyMCE plugin
 that includes a dropdown menu for commonly used HTML elements, including
 the <abbr> tag, as well as other beneficial elements like <code>, <q>,
 <ins>, <time>, <samp>, and <cite>. This would streamline the process for
 users who frequently need to insert these elements into their posts or
 content.
