 Hi there, welcome back to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the report.

 Just to clarify, while WordPress 5.9.x is not ''fully'' compatible with
 PHP 8.1, it does succesfully run on that version in general, with some
 deprecation notices, as seen in [https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-
 develop/runs/5473490381?check_suite_focus=true#step:20:1 automated test
 runs].

 I think the issue might be specific to your server configuration. If you
