 Hello and thanks for the feedback, @csgaraglino

 How do you hook into dashboard screen to add your widget? Can you share us
 some code to make sure it is not a misconception on your side?

 It shouldn't change anything if you are correctly hooking into this
 screen. Maybe you're simply overriding the Core welcome widget. In that
 case, you have to update your CSS code to make sure it doesn't break. And
 you need to do this before each release of WordPress. But if you are in
 this case, I'd suggest you to change the way you hook into the dashboard
 :)
