 Thank you for letting me know, glendaviesnz, that the Dorsey theme needs
 to be updated. I see that the date on that Developer Note that warned this
 was coming was in August. I emailed Made by Minimal at the same time that
 I did the bug report. They responded:

 "I can confirm that WordPress 5.9 has broken the theme's native gallery
 display. We're working on a fix and plan to release a theme update within
 a few weeks."

 I'm not a part of the developer world -- would the Developer Notes be
 something that these theme companies should keep up with? I would think
 that it would be to their advantage to stay on top of things so that the
 themes they offer continue to work right.
