 I do think it’s about time for an update also so this is great. I like the
 first version’s calls for action, but they are very hidden with so many
 and the dashboard seems so lost closed like that by default. I wonder if
 that is a step too far in this version also and doesn’t solve the need for
 a deeper redesign?

 I would lean probably to the second for the styling as it reflects a theme
 across the site and has a stronger cohesive feel. I also am very unsure
 about bringing in the different buttons that don’t work so well yet
 outside the editor in version one.

 I actually don’t mind it changing a bit header wise each release but
 that’s a decision to take and work to keep up if we do it.
