 Instinctively I also felt that renaming the site editor menu item was
 confusing - not only because as a Gutenberg user and block theme developer
 I had gotten used to the menu.
 -But because it would make it more difficult to differentiate between the
 different types of editors when providing support.

 But as that decision had already been made, and the Editor menu item is
 already commited, this felt like the ''least bad'' solution for the Theme
 Editor menu item.

 The other suggestion that was brought up was to completely remove the
 theme editor, with the argument that it is no longer needed. I strongly
 disagree with that.

 I am not sure this is the right ticket to discuss the naming of the new
 editor.
