Comment:

 I did some more testing on this today, and though I do see the issue in
 logic being pointed out, I still want to completely understand and
 replicate the conditions that cause this to happen before making a change.

 5.6.2 RC is going to be packaged in a few hours. Since this one still
 requires some investigation and lacks a patch, I'm going to punt to
 `Future Release`.
