Comment (by Otto42):
@pinstripeonlinemarketing For further assistance in using the software,
you should post on the Support Forums located here:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
However, for lost password issues, they're likely to simply redirect you
to this page:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/
That page has 7 different ways to reset a password, depending on the
access you have to your site. You only need one of them to work.
Additionally, the WordPress software is not a "service" like Facebook or
Google. Because you are using the WordPress software on your own hosting,
your username and password are not shared with anybody else. This also
means that nobody else can fix it except you or your hosting service.
WordPress is free software, made available for anybody's use. The
developers and creators of this software do not manage nor have any
control over your site, or any other sites running the free WordPress
software. So, emailing somebody to get a password reset for you is not
possible, you will need to do it yourself or have your hosting service
assist you with that process.
