 @matt, I don't hear you say any real arguments against it. Privacy is
 exactly an argument to give options outside the Gravatar arena, as argued.
 Also it's highly unpractical as is. And see all other arguments in the
 thread.
 Personally I tried all of the plugins mentioned and none of them work
 consistently on my sites. This subject requires a stable core
 implementation.

 I vote to continue.
