 Drafted a new version based on recent feedback. Love the ideas, especially
 Joen's proposal - its simplicity feels so native. Also added cropping
 controls as @johnbillion suggested.

 Check above recording, or try it yourself by applying the patch. This is
 proof of concept, please take it as such - refactored patch will come as
 we progress.

 This needs upload_files capability to get enabled. Users without this
 permission will only see Gravatar message (i.e. subscribers). As next
 steps would discuss any enhancements, compatibility with existing plugins,
 and the items suggested by @garrett-eclipse from Core Privacy roadmap.
