 Sorry to butt in here, but I'm trying to unsubscribe from trac email
 notifications for this thread, but can't. I'm not listed as a watcher of
 this ticket, and I even tried watching and unwatching, but I continue to
 get the email likely simply because I commented on the issue a few months
 ago.

 Does anyone know why this is happening and what needs to be done to
 unsubscribe? There's no unsubscribe link in notifications either.
