 I'd agree with @audrasjb that sounds like there's something a bit too much
 (culturally) US-centric not only in the tone of the copy but also in the
 tone of some comments on this ticket.

 I'd like to kindly ask to please refrain to refer to a specific cultural
 background. WordPress is a global project. The number of downloads from
 non-US countries surpassed the one from the US many years ago :) While I
 do realize referring to our own cultural background is a natural mindset
 for all of us, I do also think it should be avoided as much as possible.

 Some of the most US-centric sayings used above makes me feel a bit
 uncomfortable, also because I don't understand them. They're way too
 "local" and, ''de facto'', they exclude me from a full understanding.
 They're not inclusive. Thank you.
