Comment (by afercia):

 To recap, [attachment:"47327.2.diff"] removes italic text from:
 - the Quick Edit / Bulk Edit forms
 - the Recovery Mode plugin error details
 - the Image Editor inline help
 - re: `#commentsdiv .comments-box thead th` and `#commentsdiv .comments-
 box thead td`: they relate to the Comments meta box in the Edit Post
 screen but I couldn't find where these elements are supposed to appear.
 They were added in https://core.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/20164 for
 WordPress 3.4
