Comment:

 Today I had to do the same thing. No matter the method I used to upload, I
 kept getting the 2014 year folder.

 I switched my theme to TwentyTwenty, tried again, and it got the correct
 folder. Must be my theme.

 Can you point me to the area of Theme PHP that controls this? The theme
 I’m using is no longer supported.
