Comment:

 On a Mac the emoji picker is accessed with `^⌘space`, on Android and iOS
 it's built in to the keyboard, and on Linux it's in the context menu for
 text inputs.

 While there can be value in making the use of emoji and other characters
 more discoverable (applications such as Twitter and Slack do this with a
 dedicated emoji button) this is not something that the editor team is
 currently considering. See
