On every one of my sites, clicking on "The Email is Correct" leads to a
white screen, and no email sent.

A console error on this white screen reads: "The character encoding of the
plain text document was not declared. The document will render with
garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains
characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the
file needs to be declared in the transfer protocol or file needs to use a
byte order mark as an encoding signature."

I've been simply clicking in Remind me Later to get around it. This has
been happening for months and months now, across multiple WP updates, and
on at least 10 different sites on a few different hosts. Sorry I do not
have a stock installation sitting around with no plugins/themes to test
 on.

Using Firefox v74.0.1 on Windows 10
