 Hi @laurelfulford,

 I am also currently working on a patch for Twenty Seventeen which I am
 hoping to have ready later today. However, I think I disagree that Twenty
 Seventeen is a good candidate for the Wide alignment though, unless it is
 only used when there is no sidebar. If there is a wide image used at the
 top of a post, when there is an active sidebar, it will most certainly
 overlap the sidebar, but feel free to correct me if I am wrong on this.
