 @ehlersjw There is a difference between the .ORG and .COM you can check
 https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ and you can freely ask in the
 https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/themes forums for extra help as your
 website is hosted on WordPress.com.

 To help a bit further there is extra CSS generated in your HTML `<head>`
 part, to be more specific `<style type="text/css" id="custom-colors-css">`
 just before the closing `</head>` tag. This overrides the default colors
 that are set from the `style.css` of the theme.

 That was somehow generated there and I can't be sure how (maybe you have
 fiddled with custom colors ? ), but it is not from the theme as a default
 installation.

 I can't make a search bar appear on my menu as well as @melchoyce
 mentioned so maybe the fellows over WordPress.com have extra things going
 on in Twenty Eleven that I can't be sure of.
