 I agree, but unfortunately this just isn't a Core priority, at least not
 for 2019 [https://make.wordpress.org/core/2018/12/08/9-priorities-
 for-2019/].

 I'll be maintaining `Lord of the Files` indefinitely, so that'll at least
 remain an option. :)
