 This ticket is long, its also got a lot of the solutions based on a
 different world where the new editor didn't exist. It was a time before
 the core focuses - seems so far away right? I would like to suggest this
 is closed as we move into the customizer focus and the editor appears, I
 feel the approach won't be what we are looking at here.
