 @westonruter   Then why was the milestone set to 4.8.1 in a thread that is
 already 5 months old? Reported issues exist in the current media elements
 script that ships with wp 4.8. But WP does release new media widgets in
 which those reported issues are not fixed..... very frustrating i must say
 !
