 @westonruter Certainly. I will remove that conditional since I don't think
 it's needed at this point, unless it is proven to be needed. I have tried
 different ways to reproduce this without success. I'll commit that change
 tomorrow. Just FYI, 4.1.3 fixed mostly documentation and some things for
 HLS. Nothing that will really be that different from 4.1.2 in this context
