Comment (by ahortin):

 Why can we not have the Customizer panel draggable so that users can
 resize it to whatever size works best for them? Why does it have to be
 either 300px or 600px, and that's it?

 Let people choose how wide they want to use the Customizer instead of
 forcing them into one view or another.
