 I am back on this. I cleared cookies but that did not change anything. My
 multisite is running in subfolder mode and I am using this plugin for
 Domain Mapping: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-
 mapping/

 Maybe that is part of the problem? Will give it a try later.
