 Buttons that change size when they're active isn't very desirable. It can
 cause other UI elements to move around (this is why the spinner class in
 core uses `visibility:hidden` instead of `display:none` in its inactive
 state).

 Could we do something to append or prepend the spinner without affecting
 the button size?
