Comment:

 @needle reports on make/core https://make.wordpress.org/core/2016/10/11
 /comment-allowed-checks-in-wordpress-4-7/#comment-31324 that [38778]
 results in the incorrect status codes being returned in some cases. This
 is my fault - I thought that the codes in @websupporter's patches were
 superfluous, but I was incorrect. A new patch is coming up.
