 Maybe it is a better idea to track include, exclude fields in different
 solutions, track tickets?

 Also as small complement this plugin (https://github.com/bueltge/wp-rest-
 api-filter-items), that currently in usage on customer sites to reduce to
 specific fields. Maybe it is a help to create a solid solution.
