 @westonruter These changes look fine to me. The only small bit of feedback
 I'd add is to maybe add a CSS comment above the styles just to make it
 clear where these changes take effect and why the theme is styling
 something from core like this. It may not be completely clear just by the
 class names, and its rare themes have to do something like this, so let's
 provide an explanation.
