Comment:

 This method has been added in WordPress 4.3.0, see
 https://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/4.3/src/wp-
 includes/meta.php#L1603, so the error must be somewhere else. Perhaps the
 update on your server was interrupted. Manually uploading the files from
 4.3.1 should work in such a case.
