 Other feature plugins have removed existing screens and replaced them
 entirely when faced with insufficient hooks. We need not step in the API
 rabbit hole.

 That said, I'll relent. I think I'm the only one wanting to explore
 feature plugin waters with settings reduction. Ideally, I have this
 running as a plugin on my blogs for at least a month before it is
 considered for merge. I'd like to get to that point some day with future
 ux cleanups. Meanwhile, I look forward to testing a patch. Cheers. :-)
