 Also, about the icons, after reading the feedback above, my personal vote
 would go for:

 * The houses design by @EmpireOfLight for "My Sites" — It conveys the
 meaning of multitude well.
 * The brush as suggested by @designsimply — I like that being in the same
 context but different from the brush used in Appearance. That argument won
 me. ;)
 * And I'd +1 @melchoyce's idea of adding to the set the box grid/layout
 icon as an all-purpose layout one.
