 When I started fiddling with themes, I started reading about Post Formats.
 There is a curious lack of material. Specifically, while I could find
 discussions, I couldn't find much material discussing the different
 formats in detail or pondering their use and styling.

 It wasn't until @Helen posted some of the trac tickets from a few years
 ago that I realized the full extent of what had been discussed at the
 time, partly because the discussion had been abandoned.

 The question is where to begin with a new discussion of improving post
 formats? For me, that would be going into a discussion of each post format
 individually, which I think would lead to discussing the most useful
 enhancements.
