 Any new on this? I think there aren't trouble adding this filter, cause
 you could control every kind of post type adding the filter, so a dev
 could mod the post type args only if the post type isn't a built in one
 (for ex, you could control the $post_type on the register_post_type
 function, and this is only a method).
