 Does anyone have opinions on [attachment:21195.15.diff], which deprecates
 the `get_avatar()` pluggable function, in favour of `wp_get_avatar()`?
 (Currently just a copy/pasta, but we could make this code a lot neater if
 we didn't need to care about function signatures, for starters.)
