 I'd love to see the back ground data that supports the notion that it
 confused lots of people. I haven't seen one instance in the support forums
 where someone was having issues with the Title attribute in a link.

 It's an attribute just like any other. You need to understand it to use it
 properly. I use it exclusively to inform users that the link will open in
 a new window. That's good practice some would argue.

 In any case "We took it out and we are not putting it back" is not very
 community spirited. I like the suggestion to make it an advanced option.

 It's telling that the first line of Otto's plugin is "put the title field
 back where it belongs"
