 Contra, because:
 - horrible contrast
 - still an issue with the visability of it

 Also, the visual focus is only seen by '''KEYBOARD users'''. Try it
 yourself: Use the tab key to navigate through the admin menu. After that,
 use your mouse again - stays regular, aside of the better contrast thanks
 to white on dark black.

 Test it with my above mentioned snippet (comment:19).

 I don't think a transition would help much for keyboard users.
