 Thank's for the update but I'm confused now, maybe it's my English but I
 thought this thread had everything to do with "Private Pages not listed in
 the Parent drop down" ?

 Private Pages not listed in the Parent drop down is exactly the problem I
 have... after the new WP upgrade the patch isn't working anymore, I'm able
 to assign a child of a private page but it will not go public as before
 but goes private instead.

 If there is another ticket that can help '''please let me know''' because
 I could not find one and the patches in this ticket always worked for me
 in te past.
