 I think the replacement may need to be a little cleverer if it's going to
 be done there. Consider something like
 {{{
 [song title='Don’t leave me this way']
 ----------------^ = curly
 }}}
 which would end up as:
 {{{
 [song title='Don't leave me this way']
 }}}
