 Its seems you are not a WordPress user. 700 categories mean unique not
 duplicate.

 Those 700+ categories define its own posts so no other posts show in it.

 Its easy to find all posts that in that category.

 I've currently 708 category which is points its own posts.

 When i need to post a new post for that '''1 category''' i need to scroll
 a lot to reach that category which my posts will use.

 ''' I am waiting for This from WP 3.5 to till latest. Still its not
 invented.'''
